Sarah Andelman

With the help of a great woman of letters' name, also her mother's first name, she marked the Parisian lifestyle scene for 20 years. From 1997 to 2007, Sarah Andelman ran the iconic concept store colette as co-founder and artistic director. More than a simple shop, it was a true crossroads of creations, an elegant way of living at the intersection of the arts. Since then, the curator has ventured into publishing with Just an Idea Books to celebrate emerging artists. She has just signed the foreword to the collection Paris Shopfronts, a journey through nearly 200 illustrated and narrated local addresses. Among them, the delightful À la Mère de Famille.

Julien Pham

With Julien, the hungry find plenty to fill the void. The young forty-something is at the cutting edge. Founder of the event agency Phamily First, he works daily to stir up Parisian food by bringing together the best, stars and newcomers, to spark excitement and ignite taste buds. Since then, his vibrant sense of merchandising has led him to create Giftshop Club, a platform for creating and selling souvenirs stamped with the capital's most memorable culinary institutions, with whom À la Mère de Famille has had the chance to collaborate.

In their baskets...

Every month, Déborah Pham, journalist, and Steve Dolfi, co-owner of the oldest chocolate factory in Paris, welcome inspiring guests for afternoon tea in the secret dining room of the historic shop. Personalities we want to listen to and talk about transmission. Each guest arrives with a companion, a person who matters, from whom they received influence or to whom they transmitted a certain vision of the world. For an hour, they talk about connections, memories, about what is transmitted without even thinking about it. A unfiltered conversation with full mouths, because here it's allowed.
