Since 1761, À la Mère de Famille, a cornerstone of Rue du Faubourg-Montmartre, has spanned the ages. A rarity in the Parisian landscape, the historic shop has never changed its address or its activity. Years pass, furniture acquires a patina, but the enthusiasm and desires remain intact. À la Mère de Famille has also seen a multitude of lovers of the House succeed each other to preserve and animate it, generations of loyal customers who have grown up with it.
A family at the heart of taste
The starting point of the story of the oldest chocolate factory in Paris, it was with its takeover in 2000 by the Dolfi family that the "safeguarding" adventure of French chocolate and confectionery heritage began.
Since then, À la Mère de Famille has continuously expanded its incredible range of delicacies, which it makes itself in its workshops. Because for Etienne, Sophie, Steve, Jane, and Jonathan, guardians of this institution, doing everything themselves is a true guarantee of quality.
